Hair Grades - Why 10A Grade Brazilia Straight Human Hair Is Better Than 6A Grade
Hair grades help you decide which hair extensions are best for your budget and needs. It's important to remember that there's no universal standard for these numbers and names, so don't expect consistency or quality based on their value.
Depending on the vendor, "6A" hair might actually be 6A non-Remy hair mixed with animal or synthetic fibers. "7A" hair might be 7A non-Remy hair with some short hair mixed in the bundles. "8A" hair could be 8A virgin hair that hasn't been chemically processed, full cuticle aligned or treated with acid bath. And 10A hair may be virgin or non-virgin.
This is why it's so important to ask for samples of hair in all the different tiers. Then you can see for yourself what's the difference between them. For instance, 9A hair is more premium than 7A hair, but it also may look thinner towards the ends. If you're going to spend a lot of money on hair, it makes sense to invest in the highest-quality possible. This way you can get the most use out of your hair, and avoid dry ends and tangling problems.
